Just had to say that. The work I've seen in the CNC forum is awesome. I worked in a machine shop for 7 years (age 17 - 24). I've ran every piece of machinery in the shop with the exception of the EDM (Electro - Dye something or other). It's amazing the accuracy you guys have (like the inlays). I've seen some 250k (USD) machines from Mori Seki that couldn't do that fine of detail. Or, maybe it's just the quality of the operators .

Good work guys. You've gotten me wanting to start using CNCs again. Not as a job. BUt maybe as a hobby.

I understand where you're coming from. If someone
had told me back in the 60's that we would someday be able to hook a desktop computer to a machine tool in one's garage I would probably have said, "yea right".

Someone may have already mentioned this but the latest Taylor Factory Friday has some neat stuff on tooling and CNC.
